The Saint Louis Cardinals beat the New York Mets last night, 3-1, in game seven!
The game was tied 1 and 1 after the third inning, until the catcher Molina hit a two run home run in the ninth inning. Mets player Endy Chavez made an amazing catch right at the top of the wall, keeping the game 1-1 in the 6th inning, but then the bottom of the ninth, Cards pitcher Wainwright struck out Carlos Beltran with the bases loaded!
No game tonight (so we can actually go to bed at a decent time instead of midnight) but they're starting the world series tomorrow in Detroit.
I have to say this for the Mets, they have a pitcher with the most fascinating pitch. Chad Bradford pitches a baseball like he's bowling...not how you usually pitch: Bradford's delivery
The Mets fans, who normally look jaded, just looked dazed at 11:30-ish last night when the Cards won...they couldn't seem to believe it!
Well, that's all for now, I apologize for not writing anything lately. I'll try to post sometime this weekend, or early next week. I keep thinking of things to write about, so it might be a long post. :-)

Well, if Molina was a pitcher that 2-run homer would be even more exciting. :)
Now, go find out what position he really plays and edit your blog so that my comment makes me look really stupid. :)
Okay, I fixed that...catcher not pitcher, which I knew perfectly well, but it just proves how tired I was last night...
