I have no title...

Oh I'm tired! I just got up from a short nap, but I still don't feel up to staying up till midnight! I think I need to have some caffeine.

Okay, we're in Springfield now, we got in yesterday afternoon around 3:30 and went out to eat with my grandma and other relatives. We stayed in the Drury Inn last night, but after eating the dismal breakfast this morning (plus the place is rather old and depressing) we checked online and found that the Hilton Garden Inn just down the street had the exact same rates, and for the holidays they have a deal where you can get free breakfast for up to four people in their restaurant sort of thing! And the only reason we picked the Drury over the other, was that we didn't think the Hilton Garden had breakfast.

So we ended up moving over here, and it is so much nicer. It's bright and cheerful in here, the place is much newer, and smells a lot cleaner.

Let's see, where have we been...well, across a lot of states in between North Carolina and Illinois! We stayed in a hotel in Louisville, Kentucky Saturday night. I slept really well that night, because that hotel had two separate rooms, so Mom and Dad got one bed in the bedroom and Colin got the other, and I slept out on the fold-out couch in the living room. Last night at the Drury Inn wasn't so great, Colin and I shared a bed a very springy bed too...every time he moved, the whole bed bounced and disturbed me. I think the beds we have here are fairly firm, so it shouldn't be too bad. It can't be any worse than Friday morning at home where the only way I got to sleep was to close his door, and mine, and pull the blankets up over my ears to block the coughing sounds. I slept then, but I had some really weird dreams, so I'm not sure how well I really slept.

Colin is doing better as long as he doesn't run or breathe in any of the cold air going between buildings. We figured out that if he holds his coat over his mouth as he walks in, in makes a lot of difference. He probably needs a scarf really, but he'd probably feel claustrophobic or get tangled up in it! :)

We're going over to my grandma's tonight, and then tomorrow we're going to get together with my mom's side of the family in the afternoon, so I'll get to see my second cousins! Yay! And they are second cousins, I've been calling them my second cousins, but I wasn't sure if that was right or not...but of course Wikipedia has the answer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cousin#Chart

Well, I'd better go get a shower before we head over to Grandma's, I'm certainly not going to want to shower later. I'll have to blog more tomorrow.

The wind is whistling outside the hotel...it's snowing too...or it was earlier! Snow!!

What wonderful Roth adventures!

I would probably laugh the whole week through if I lived with Colin; he is so much fun! (Of course his sister and mom keep me laughing with all their blog news also!)

Have fun!
