Wow...it's right!

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

I'm not sure about the whole "you don't have an accent" thing...obviously I don't think I do, but wouldn't people who talk differently think that I have an accent? Or is the "Midland accent" somehow perfectly right? I don't see how that could be. I'm confused...

Hey, I'm Midland also. Big surprise. :)

I disagree with that "Southern Illinois" business, though. Obviously written by someone who thinks everything south of I-80 is "Southern Illinois".

Heh. Guess what I am.

I don't really get that non-accent thing either. I also think that they left out all of the words that I say strangely and Kentuckyish. Which is definitely a word.

Kentuckyish...Ha-ha! Actually I don't think I've ever heard a native Kentuckian talk, so I'm not sure what they sound like...

And I can talk with a southern accent if I want to...it might get me some funny looks if I suddenly switch to it, but I can do it! :D

Oregon... ;P

I am Midland as well, though I get asked quite a bit if I am from Boston or other northern cities...It probably has something to do with me talking so fast.
