You are shy and quiet in person? I guess I don't know you very well...;)

Very cool that you were in the paper, though!

Hi Natalie, I saw you in the paper today and it's been fun to look at your blog. I'm a stay at home mom in Kernersville. I found it interesting that you are a "young" person who is interested in sewing. If you don't already know about it, check out www.patternreview.com. It's a really neat site for those of us who sew. You can find my reviews by doing an advanced search by my screen name "MelC". Take care! Melanie Carroll

It's even more cool that you aren't in the "Police Beat" section... well, I guess I didn't check... Hmmm... :)

Wow that very cool! I would be curious to see how being in the paper effects the number of visitors you get. I had a film/tech blog several years ago and one of the posts I did on Apple switching to Intel processors got reposted on a much larger tech site. I think it increased my daily visitor totals by around 300%...the things publicity can do. :p

Hi Melanie!
Thanks for stopping by! I have heard of PatternReview, but I haven't checked it out much. I'll have to take a look at it, as I have a couple sewing projects planned for sometime soon.

Will,
I am getting a lot more visitors today...we'll see if it keeps up! :D

I don't imagine I'll get 300% more visitors like you did from the Apple/Intel thing...that was big news!

Very funny, Uncle Jim! :)

Well, I don't claim to be quiet and shy around my family, Rebecca! But then you aren't either! ;)

What a great highlight for you and also for the homeschooling community. Thanks for being a great example as a homeschooler and congrats on being in the paper!
