One thing down

I called the dentist's office and got an appointment set up with the dental surgeon for a consultation. His secretary was really nice and easy to talk to, so that wasn't too bad. Usually secretaries are very professional and efficient, and then I get all nervous and completely forget what I need to say! :)
So that will be on the 26th, and I don't know how soon after that the actual surgery will be. I've really got to calm down about this though...I've had teeth taken out before (just ones that were in the way of where adult teeth needed to come it) and it wasn't too bad. I just have a really low pain tolerance, and I don't really want to eat soup for a week, much less pudding. I don't like pudding for some reason...I know, I'm crazy, everyone likes pudding, right?

Oh well, the oral surgeon, Dr. Kretzschmar is really nice (probably German with that name) and he has a daughter named Natalie... So it's not the people making me nervous, just the pain! Better now than later I guess! And after all this stuff: teeth pulled, braces, retainers, wisdom teeth extraction, if I take care of my teeth there shouldn't be anything else major to do to them for quite a while!

You're not crazy; pudding is an abomination. I'm certain you're aware that pudding was NEVER mentioned in a positive sense in the Old Testament. There's a reason for that...

Yeah, I noticed it was never mentioned AT ALL! ;)

Don't listen to him Natalie.
He just doesn't like the good chocolate foods (like all things chocolate with peanut butter) pudding is delicious.

Don't be taken in by his lure.

And how do you even know you don't like pudding, tastes change, you may find it delicious!

I just noticed the picture of you.
What nice shiny teeth you have, they're absolutely perfect! (Ten times better than Rebecca's)

That's not nice, John! And you can't tell from that tiny picture if my teeth are shiny or not! They are straight, but only because I had braces.

And I'm sorry, I know I don't like pudding, and I don't expect my tastes will change in only a few months! As for "chocolate" pudding...it's simply a ghastly excuse for chocolate.

I'll remember to make you some pudding next time you're here, though. :)

You had braces before and have to get them again?!

No! :D I had a feeling I wasn't putting that very clearly...I was just listing all the major stuff I've had done to my teeth, the last being this wisdom teeth removal.

Well. I like pudding.

And Natalie's teeth have had advantages that mine haven't had. :)

Nice photo!

"Advantages" I like that! :D

Thanks!

BTW, thank you for the "red food" ideas :P I think Anja's going to use your jello recipe.
